I bought this at Costco in 2010. I had never used one before. After the purchase, free delivery, un-crating, checking oil and gassing up the machine it started on the first pull. Easy to understand instructions. The biggest problem is disposing of the cardboard and wood crate. I have converted part of the wood frame to a stand so I can move it around more easily in my crowded garage. This machine did an excellent job on the 18 inch deep snow behind my garage. The 24 inch width is perfect for my sidewalk. This machine makes me wish I had a bigger area to clean. There is a learning curve, I had to learn to let the machine do the work with out trying to use it like a shovel.

This machine is great . I used it on the 2010 snowfalls . I like the metal chute unlike other models at this price .I have the black model it has a headlight . It also has controls to move the chute side to side and adjust the throw height . It saved my back last year .
